In Event 39 ($50,000 HORSE) on Day 3, an all in David Williams peeked at John Juanda's cards only to find out that Juanda had a better hand and that he would be eliminated.

Later, on the same day of that event, Daniel Negreanu took a look at Scotty Nguyen's cards. Negreanu won the hand and Nguyen, who was all in at the time, was sent home.

Meanwhile on Day 1 of Event 43 ($2,000 Limit Holdem) Noah Boeken watched Phil Laak play his PSP to pass the time between hands.

How would you play if you were in his seat?

This photo of Howard Lederer with Scotty Nguyen to his left was taken on Day 2 of Event 39 ($50,000 HORSE) at the 2007 WSOP.

Or his?

This photo of Phil Ivey with Erick Lindgren on his right was taken on the same Day of Event 39.

Prop bets were popular at the beginning of Event 39 ($50,000 HORSE). Mike Matusow, far left, turned someone down pulling out his last $100 and exclaiming, "He's not getting this one!" Gus Hansen and Doyle Brunson mapped out their prop bets on a sheet of paper and John D'Agostino took a look at a list of names that had been handed his way.

In this photo you see Phil Hellmuth trying to entice Ted Forrest into a $5,000 prop bet on who would win their event.

This photo was taken during the initial seat draw for Event 31 ($5,000 No Limit Holdem - Heads Up). You can see the frustration on the player's faces as they wait as patiently as possible for their seat assignments. In the crowd you see players such as Anthony Newman, Kenna James, Dan Harrington, Chip Jett, Davidson Matthew, and Alex Kravchenko milling around the podium as tournament director Jack Effel calls out their seats, one by one. As it turned out, this tourament scheduled to start at noon, didn't get underway until long after the 2pm restart of one of the previous day's events.

Seems like Andy Black is always finding something to do at the table other than poker. After folding a hand he jumped from his seat to take his ipod over to the player at the end of the table. He helped the other player on with his headphones and gave him a listen to the song on he had been listening to. It had to be a quick listen however, as another hand was dealt and Black had to be back in his seat.

This photo was taken on Day 1 of Event 33 ($1,500 Pot Limit Omaha w/Rebuys) of the 2007 WSOP.

This photo was taken of Lee Watkinson on Day 1 of Event 30 ($2,500 No Limit Hold'em - six handed). With the constant flux of temperature in both the Amazon Room and The Pavillion, you can never tell if a player is covered up in order to disguise any possible tells from the table or because they are just simply freezing cold.

What is the most interesting thing at the WSOP this year, poker or golf? It's not only the players who, like you see Phil Ivey doing here, are watching golf on the monitors in the tournament area at the Rio, but the people on the rail as well.

This photo was taken when we reached two tables in Event 26 ($5,000 HORSE) at the 2007 WSOP.

I'm not sure what it was about Day 2 of Event 25 ($2,000 No Limit Hold'em), but the players spent quite a bit of time arranging and rearranging their chips. Below you see from left to right: Rolf Slotboom's Tic Tac chip castle, Steve O'Dwyer's card protector guarding his stack of chips, and Kevin Saul meticulously squaring up his monster stack.

This picture was taken in the overflow tent on Day 1 of Event 25 ($2,000 No Limit Hold'em). Because of the intense heat outside at mid-day it had to be at least 80 degrees in the tent. The heat was distracting to most of the players, but Barry Greenstein seemed to be more distracted by golf on the big screen behind his table.

Who let that man play with a baby on his back?
